Bird Island because . . . well . . . there are a lot of birds on the island.

Our friend Sarah is a native.

Latest Road Trip- Upstate MA

A couple weeks ago, I went to visit my awesome friend Laura and her super sweet family. She lives in "Farmville" as I call it- green pastures, fresh fruit and veg stands, farm animals galore . . . ahhh, my kind of heaven. We did lots of fun, outdoorsy stuff.

Laura's mom has some blueberry bushes out front, so it was fresh picked blueberries for breakfast in the monring! :-9

Bucky taking a dip.

Chilling in the hammock.

We went for a hike at Maudslay State Park . . . it was lovely, but I would recommend parking on the street somewhere- you have to pay for parking if you don't have a pass (which we did, yay!).

What's in here?

Smiley face :-)

. . . And??? . . .

Haha.

:-)

Me climbing a tree.

We also went to Plum Island.

Not the Greenheads!!!

I was too tempted . . . I had to try the berries. These bright red ones were not ripe . . . bleh. But the darker ones tasted yummy. I really need to learn about food foraging, my curiosity will get the better of me some day (in the form of food poinsoning, most likely).

Siamese Cookie we got for free- Thanks Raina!

Then we went kayaking down the Merrimac River . . .

Oh yeah.
